Rao, MrinaliniPh.D., University of Michigan Research Description Cellular and molecular basis of regulating salt and water transport across epithelia
Rasenick, MarkPh.D., Wesleyan University Research Interests Research Description G protein signaling and the cytoskeleton; regulation of synaptic shape by neurostranmitters; molecular biology of depression
Raychaudhuri, PradipPh.D., Albert Einstein College of Medicine Research Interests Research Description We use both mammalian and yeast genetics to study DNA damage response, cell cycle checkpoints and tumor suppression
Rong, LijunPh.D., Purdue University Research Interests Research Description Entry mechanisms of emerging viruses such as Ebola and SARS
Russell, BrendaPhD, University London, UK Research Interests Research Description Dr. Russell's scientific training, background, experience, and productivity encompass a range of disciplines and forge linkages in the continuum between quantitative biology, bioengineering and physiology. Her current NIH support funds two collaborative projects, one on heart failure for regulation of protein synthesis and remodeling of cell shape, and the other on development of a novel cell culture system using bioengineering and surface chemistry modification. Many of her studies have been done in close collaboration with clinicians (muscular dystrophies, urinary incontinence, heart failure).
